Budva
Budva is the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism thanks to great number of beaches capturing hearts and making it the most desirable tourist destination. Budva coast is 21 km long with 17 beaches. It is among the most beautiful coasts of the world and its beauty will leave you breathless.
Apart from its natural beauty represented by bays, islands and beaches Budva is rich with historical monuments. Stari Grad lies on a little peninsula and represents a treasure box of cultural heritage. Crossed with little streets and squares where famous buildings are located, St. Trojica church which is the tomb of the exquisite writer, Stjepan Mitrov Ljubisa, St. Ivans church, the church of Sv. Bogorodica and the church of St. Sava. During the summer months it turns into City Theatre where numerous shows are performed from home and abroad. In the Stari Grad today you can visit many shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries. Monasteries Stanjevici, Podostrog, Rezevici i Gradiste are important historic and religious monuments of Budva.

To reach Montenegro from Ireland there are a choice of two airports, Podgorica and Tivat. Alternatively there is Cilipi Airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Dubrovnik to Budva is approximately a 45 minutes drive.
